Introduction
Type TW building wires are used for general purpose wiring at ratings up to 600 volts. Type TW is designed to operate at temperatures up to 60ƒC in wet and dry locations and is especially advantageous for rewiring as well as new installations. The wire is insulated with a polyvinyl chloride compound especialy designed to provide a tough wire that possesses excellent dielectric strength and is flame resistant. The smooth surface iis treated with a silicone solution to ease pulling through a conduit or duct.
